Fr. Johnson is pleased to announce that this year’s parish recipient of the 2021 St. Jude The Apostle Medal is Constance (Connie) Taylor.  This prestigious honor is bestowed each year upon a deserving lay member from each parish within the Diocese of St. Petersburg. Connie joined our parish community in 1993 and has been involved in various ministries since her arrival 28 years ago.   Connie who is currently serving as President of the St. Scholastica Community of Catholic Women, previously served as President from 1995-1997.     Connie also served as the CCW Treasurer from 2002 to 2011; as CCW Recording Secretary from 1993 to 1995 and as CCW Parliamentarian from 2000 to 2005.  She serves as an active member of the council’s Bereavement Committee.  Connie is currently a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion to the homebound, and serves as a EMHC at weekend Liturgies.  She is the head of our Altar Linen Ministry, and participates in our parish Prayer Line Ministry.  Connie also served as Parliamentarian for the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women for two years.  Join Fr.
