Goals and Purpose: As readers of the Word, our main task is to make the Word of God come alive to those who hear us. Through prayer and preparation we open our minds and tongues to God.

Responsibilities:
A reader is expected to:

Be a registered parishioner who is in full Communion with the Church.

Be a responsible adult or young adult.

Have good reading skills and be willing to prepare and practice what they are to read.

Be punctual when scheduled, usually once every four weeks.

Be committed to the ministry, improving through training and practice.

Be flexible and willing to help other readers, and assist during special times such as Christmas and Easter.

Time Commitment: Once a month/Schedules quarterly
