Any parishioner who is ill, anticipating surgery, or in the hospital or a nursing home, may request the Sacrament of Anointing of the sick from a priest. Please be sure to advise the hospital or nursing home admissions office of your status as a Catholic. 

Persons should not delay the celebration of this sacrament until they are gravely ill. Rather, those whose health is seriously impaired by sickness or old age should be anointed. Please contact the parish office at 352-746-9422 for more information.
