Goals and Purpose: The Community of Catholic women is a Ministry of St. Scholastica Church. As a member of the Community of Catholic Women, you receive the grace of prayers that our member's say for one another. You become an integral part of our church and community. If you have just one day a year to give to our mission, you could be of great help. Just 24 hours is all it takes. You may help us with our many missions as Spirituality, Bereavement, Events, Respect Life, or Leadership. Please consider being a part of our great mission. Doing God's work helps strengthen our spiritual life as well as our family life and adds great satisfaction to everything we do. The objectives of the St. Scholastica Community of Catholic Women are to praise Our Lord Jesus Christ and honor His Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary; to promote spiritual and social activities for the general welfare of St. Scholastica Parish; and to sponsor fund raising activities for the church, community, national, and International projects. Membership is open to all Catholic women, 18 years of age or older.

 

Responsibilities:  We make our presence known by Corporate Communion Services, taking part in the Living Rosary, volunteering our services to the church and community, participating in Deanery and Diocesan functions, visiting and offering Rosary recitation for the bereaved, and providing, when requested, a reception for the bereaved family of registered parishioners following the funeral Mass.
 

Helpful Attributes:  Catholic women age 18 and over are eligible to join.

Meeting Schedule:  The 3rd Monday of the month from September thru May at 11:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall.
